Help me bring Arts access to Sonoma County Children!
I have proudly served on the LBC Board for the last 12 years; because my life changed at 9 years old when I received a Drum Set for Christmas when growing up in Chicago.
Playing drums in bands over the next several decades exposed me to the beauty of creativity in the balance of living. Music taught me the power of collaboration and it kept me out of trouble!
The LBC is the North Bay’s premier arts and events center presenting world-class performances, nationally-recognized arts and education programs, contemporary visual art, and community events.
We are proudly ranked among the world’s top performing arts centers, every year presenting performances in music, theater, dance, comedy, family programming and renowned speaker events. But the organization doesn’t stop there. Every year, we serve more than 50,000 children and adults through their Education Through the Arts programs. Most of the programs are offered at little to no cost, removing barriers to access and amplifying the impact of these transformative programs. I am very proud to be a member of the Board for this one-of-a-kind organization.
As we are gearing up for our annual fundraising gala, the Art of Dessert, together we can make a difference for the students we serve. I hope to reach our goal with help from you, our circle of friends, family, and colleagues. Would you please join me by making a meaningful donation of any amount to the cause?
PS - There are too many amazing programs to list here, so I encourage you to learn more about the incredible arts and education programs for school children, educators, and the wider community, online.
Thank you for helping to raise funds for an amazing organization in our community and bring the power of the arts to even more children!
