Thank you to our Event Sponsors!

Thank you for helping to raise funds for an amazing organization in our community and bring the power of the arts to even more children!

The LBC is one of the largest performing arts centers in the Bay Area, bringing the arts to stages, schools and homes.

Why does this matter to me?  I am a product of the arts.  I wrestled with issues of low confidence and self esteem, bullying and lack of belonging.  The arts built my confidence and provided me with community.  I wouldn't be the person I am today without access to the arts.

Every year, we serve more than 50,000 children and adults through arts education programs.  For all the abundance of wealth in the Bay Area, there are still so many that live in poverty and lack access to education.  Access to arts education is perhaps one of the most impactful ways to shape development in children. Kids with access to the arts:

1) Perform better in reading, science and math

2) Have improved cognitive and social abilities

3) Greater attendance in schools

Most of these programs are offered at little to no cost, removing barriers to access and amplifying the impact of these transformative programs. I am very proud to be a member of the Board for this one-of-a-kind organization.

As we are gearing up for our annual fundraising gala, the Art of Dessert, together we can make a difference for the students we serve. I hope to reach our goal with help from you, my circle of friends, family, and colleagues. Would you please join me by making a meaningful donation of any amount to the cause?

PS - There are too many amazing programs to list here, so I encourage you to learn more about the incredible arts and education programs for school children, educators, and the wider community, online.
