Hello Friends!
The Luther Burbank Center of the Arts is the North Bay’s premier arts and events center presenting world-class performances, nationally-recognized arts and education programs, contemporary visual art, and community events.
We are proudly ranked amongst the world’s top performing arts centers, every year presenting performances in music, theater, dance, comedy, family programming and renowned speaker events. But the organization doesn’t stop there. Every year, we serve more than 50,000 children and adults through their Education Through the Arts programs. Most of the programs are offered at little to no cost, removing barriers to access and amplifying the impact of these transformative programs.
To share my journey, I joined the non-profit as a supporter and a Board Member over 3 years ago and am a co-chair on the Events Committee which organizes our annual fundraising gala, the Art of Dessert. I find it remarkable that the LBC brings the arts to the community, including programs for teachers and supporting local children, supporting the special needs school on property, and particularly those that may not have had such an opportunity. Aptly, the Art of Dessert has become one of the largest nonprofit fundraisers in the county. That’s just the tip, as there are so many amazing programs, I encourage you to learn more about the incredible arts and education programs for school children, educators, and the wider community, online.
As we are gearing up for the Art of Dessert, I hope to reach our goal with help from you, our circle of friends, family, and colleagues. Would you please join me by making a meaningful donation of any amount to the cause?
Check out the video above for my testimonial and a little more on the LBC.
In kindness & with much gratitude,
Rena
