I have always said that getting the Christmas gift of a drum-set when I was nine years old was one of the best gifts I have ever received.It opened a world of creativity that has been the food for my soul for more than 50 years. I have been on the Board of the LBC for over 12 years now trying to pay it forward to generations of children to come. 

The Luther Burbank Center for the Arts is the North Bay’s premier arts and events center presenting world-class performances, nationally-recognized arts and education programs, contemporary visual art, and community events

The LBC is ranked among world’s top performing arts presenters hosting performances in music, theater, dance, comedy, family programming and renowned speaker events. But the organization doesn’t stop there. Every year, we serve more than 50,000 children and adults through their Education Through the Arts programs. Most of the programs are offered at little to no cost, removing barriers to access and amplifying the impact of these transformative programs. I am supremely proud to be a member of the Board of Directors for this one-of-a-kind organization.
