Amy and I have been strong suppporters of the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) for over ten years. I have actively and passionately served on the Board for six years as we believe in the power of how the arts can dramatically change lives and is an invaluable part of our diverse community.
Stop and think about how the arts have ...brought happiness into your life...made you look at the world we live in differently...created connections to others, ...brought us together.
The LBC is the North Bay’s premier arts and events center presenting world-class performances, nationally-recognized arts and education programs, contemporary visual art, and community events.
We are proudly ranked amongst the world’s top performing arts centers, every year presenting performances in music, theater, dance, comedy, family programming and renowned speaker events. But the organization doesn’t stop there. Every year, we serve more than 50,000 children and adults through their Education Through the Arts programs. Most of the programs are offered at little to no cost, removing barriers to access and amplifying the impact of these transformative programs. I am very proud to be a member of the Board, serving as Vice Chair for this one-of-a-kind organization.
As we are gearing up for our annual fundraising gala, the Art of Dessert, together we can make a difference for the students we serve. Amy and I hope to reach our goal with help from you, our circle of friends, family, and colleagues. Would you please join me by making a meaningful donation of any amount to the cause?
PS - There are too many amazing programs to list here, so I encourage you to learn more about the incredible arts and education programs for school children, educators, and the wider community, online.
